The engineering challenge

Drilling module equipment must satisfy technical requirements and fit within its assigned space while engineering teams monitor evolving weight estimates and delivery information.

My contribution

• Supported mechanical package engineering for the drilling module air receiver and forklift, coordinating suppliers and the design team on form, fit, and function.
• Maintained and provided monthly updates to the Drilling Master Equipment List, reviewed vendor documentation, and reported equipment delivery issues.
• Worked with discipline leads to quantify weight issues, verify design allowances, identify adverse trends, and explore weight reductions with vendors.

Deliverables & documented results

Maintained equipment records and coordinated vendor reviews gave the project team current information on package requirements, delivery status, and developing weight issues.
